View Upcoming Intake SchedulesThe Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM) is a mandatory competency program in Malaysia. Industrial premises handling hazardous waste are required by law under the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 to employ a designated Certified Competent Person (CP) to oversee waste management operations compliance.
Candidates looking to sit for the EiMAS CePSWaM examination must possess one of the following academic or working backgrounds:
Holds an official Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any Science or Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Polytechnic Certificate or Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 paired with minimum 1 year of hands-on scheduled waste experience.
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) path requires a minimum of 3 years verified working experience in scheduled waste handling operations.
